If you have ever wondered how to solve a problem in your life or business, you are in the right place. I am excited to share the latest insights from our Napoleon Hill Institute training, where we explore the mindset and strategies needed to break through challenges and create lasting growth. I want to talk about one of the most powerful lessons I have learned: you cannot solve a problem in the same consciousness in which it was created.

This concept, which comes from Albert Einstein, has changed my life. Now, it is more relevant than ever because of technology and our ability to access wisdom and different perspectives instantly. Let’s dive into how you can shift your thinking, elevate your frequency, and finally solve problems at the highest level.

Why You Can’t Solve a Problem with the Same Thinking That Created It

One of the most common struggles people face is feeling stuck. You try to fix an issue, but the same patterns repeat. Why does this happen? You are using the same level of thinking, the same consciousness, that created the problem in the first place.

Think about it: if you keep approaching challenges from the same perspective, you’ll keep getting the same results. That’s why so many people feel like they are living on a loop. Whether it is your bank account, your relationships, or your self-image, it often feels like you hit a thermostat. No matter what you do, you end up right back where you started.

Here’s what I learned from Einstein and other great thinkers like Dr. Wayne Dyer, Viktor Frankl, and Napoleon Hill. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. You have the ability to shift your perspective and see new solutions, but first, you must elevate your awareness.

Today, with tools like AI and the collective wisdom of others at your fingertips, you can quickly tap into different states of consciousness. Ask yourself, “How would Einstein solve this?” or “What would Dr. Joe Dispenza say?” By accessing a broader range of insights, you break the pattern of your old thinking and open yourself to new answers.

Elevate Your Frequency

You can only be aware of what vibrates at your level or below. Everything, including your consciousness, vibrates at a certain frequency. The Earth vibrates the slowest, then plants, animals, humans, sound, light, and finally, thought. When you raise your frequency, you raise your awareness. You start to see solutions that were invisible before.

Meditation is one way I’ve found to elevate my awareness. Early in my journey, I resisted meditation because I thought it was only for people who were lost or broke. I was focused on making money, so my coach challenged me: “If you meditate, you’ll learn when to buy and sell. You’ll make more money.” That got my attention, and it worked.

But meditation is about more than money. It’s about elevating your consciousness so you can approach struggles with a higher frequency. This makes problem-solving easier, because you are not wasting energy repeating the same mistakes. Instead, you are learning intentionally, reflecting, and acting with purpose.

Action, for me, is intention in motion. Everything you do, say, think, feel, and believe carries a frequency. The highest level of all is truth. When you tell the truth, think the truth, believe the truth, and feel the truth, your frequency rises. This makes your life easier because you see things as they are, not as you wish they were.

If you want to know how to solve a problem, start by raising your frequency. Shift your mindset. Open your heart and your mind. Tap into infinite energy and information. This is where real transformation happens.

My Framework for Conscious Problem Solving

Solving problems is not just about finding answers. It’s about becoming the person who can see the solution and take action. Here’s the framework I use and share with my coaching clients.

1. Build a Strong Foundation of Learning

Life is about lessons, and those lessons will keep coming until you learn them. The best way to shorten the distance between your problem and the solution is by learning intentionally. In today’s world, I believe you should focus on three things:

  • Practice using AI as a tool for expanding your consciousness and seeing new solutions.
  • Read about what you love, not just what others tell you to read. Reading exercises your mind, develops your imagination, and helps you tell the difference between what is real and what is not.
  • Learn to reach out. Cold calling, knocking on doors, or simply asking people to respond builds your skill at getting the answers, connections, and opportunities you need.

You need to get more “at bats” in life. The more attempts you make, the more likely you are to hit a home run.

2. Elevate Reflection and Remembrance

Learning alone is not enough. You need to reflect, remember, and remind yourself of what you learn. Take the time to think about how the lessons you read or hear apply to your own life. I always ask for a takeaway after every event or coaching session, because it makes the experience intentional and memorable.

You want to reflect with higher consciousness. This means finding the truth in what you do, say, think, feel, and believe. Use the wisdom of those you respect like Wayne Dyer, Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Einstein, Frankl. Learn from their perspective, then customize those lessons to your own situation.

Remember, it is not enough to feel inspired. You must apply what you learn and make it a part of who you are.

3. Trust the Power of Repetition and the Subconscious Mind

Change doesn’t happen overnight. Your subconscious mind is active most of the day, so you need to fill it with thoughts, beliefs, and actions that align with where you want to go.

Practice repetition. Be honest and repetitive. This might annoy people, but it works. As a parent, as a coach, as a leader, I focus on reinforcing the right messages over and over. When you do this, you slowly replace your old genetic and energetic patterns with new, positive ones.

Meditation, movement, and even sleep reinforce these subconscious changes. Over time, you hardwire your mind for success and ease.

4. Embrace Your Aha Moments and Coincidences

Breakthroughs rarely happen by accident. They are the result of attention plus intention. When you focus consciously on something, and back it up with subconscious intention, you create coincidences. I call these “aha moments.”

Pay attention to both positive and negative feelings that come up in your day. Capture the lessons that resonate with you, even if they make you uncomfortable. These moments are clues. They guide you toward where you want to be or better.

5. Materialize Your Insights: Manifest with Meaning and Purpose

Manifestation is not some magic trick. It is about materializing or monetizing what already exists in the infinite. When you set your attention and intention on your true purpose, you become aware of what is already there for you.

If you put your focus on what is missing, or what you don’t have, you will only get more of that. When you focus on what you want, and align your beliefs, thoughts, and actions with that vision, you start to see opportunities and solutions appear.

This is the essence of how to solve a problem. Give it the right meaning. Attach your purpose to it. Take consistent, intentional action.

Shortening the Distance Between Problem and Solution

Every problem already contains its solution. The only thing that separates you from that solution is time. When you elevate your faith and your wisdom, you shorten that distance.

Faith is the ability to believe in something even when there is no evidence. Wisdom is using what you already know to act with confidence. When you apply both, you move from struggle to ease.

You want to spend more time at ease and less time in struggle. The goal is not just to solve problems, but to evolve into the kind of person who attracts better challenges, bigger opportunities, and greater growth.

Becoming the Person Who Solves Problems with Purpose

To truly solve problems, you must grow beyond your past limitations. Do not let your self-image be limited by old failures, mistakes, or the negative meaning others put on your life.

Reflect on how you currently think and behave. Use intentional learning and purposeful action to access your subconscious and unconscious competencies. Napoleon Hill calls this “definiteness of purpose.” The aim is not just to solve the problem in front of you, but to grow into a person capable of thinking at a higher level and living your true purpose.

Remember, each struggle, setback, or mistake is an opportunity for elevation. When you change your consciousness, you change your results. You start to see the light, love, and lessons in every challenge.

The Real Cheat Code for Life

Let’s summarize what we’ve learned about how to solve a problem:

  • You can’t solve a problem with the same consciousness that created it. Elevate your awareness.
  • Use tools like AI and learn from great thinkers to see new solutions.
  • Build a foundation of intentional learning, reflection, and repetition.
  • Pay attention to your aha moments and act on them.
  • Give the right meaning to your struggles, align with your purpose, and take consistent action.
  • Trust in the process. Have faith and use your wisdom to shorten the distance between the problem and its solution.
  • Manifestation is about bringing the invisible into the visible through focused attention, intention, and truthful action.

If you remember nothing else, remember this: change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change. Solve your problems with a higher level of consciousness, and you will not only find solutions, but also become the kind of person who creates lasting impact for yourself and those around you.
